Bye For Now

This is long overdue, judging from my last post which was two years ago. But in reality, it has been way overdue even then. What should have been a goodbye the year before, turned into a long drawn moral and ethical battle I was forced to engage in to ensure that I will be able to look at myself in the mirror after. But, alas, the human condition means that there is always going to be a certain type of rot that we all have to live with. No matter what. So.

We must draw a line sometime, somewhere.

A couple of months after, I finally managed to draw that line. Two years too slow. But perhaps just the right time, from the perspective of the things that are beyond the self.

I stopped talking tarot, did a subscribers-purge, changed my channel name, uploaded totally unrelated videos, deleted all associated social media platforms, suspended this blog, put Returning To Firdaus on the back burner, temporarily deleted my tarot channel, and returned to my old love:

Books.

I was myself again.

That was my 2019.

I had been myself again for a very long while by then.

I just did not know how to leave.

Often one step, or several steps, behind those I outgrew.

Some things must NEVER be forgotten.

(But surely, it is NOT my role to remember them for others).

For the moment, there are more important things in the world.

And I've returned to those.

See you around.

--------

My YouTube channel is currently nameless, with a simple asterisk mark " * " since YouTube won't let me leave my channel name blank. At the time of writing this post, the channel is still searchable under "Nobody Here 2020".

The only tarot videos I might be posting are likely limited to collection, inventory, and sales related. I am liquidating my tarot collection in stages. The first stage was completed in 2020.

Thank you to those who have adopted them across the globe. Especially to those who have created new homes for my "break through tarot": Tarot of Delphi. As well as my precious Ironwing Tarot, one of the rarest, and sadly under appreciated in the highly saturated tarot market of 2020 and 2021. And the gateway to Tarot de Marseille for me: Flornoy's redrawing of Jean Dodal. Those who have received in their hearts and hands, the gifts of the Mysteries of Mary Tarot, which sadly never worked for me, the last printing of the Jonasa Jaus Tarot, some vintage Il Meneghello, vintage Visconti Sforza, vintage Visconti Modrone, vintage Monumenta Longobardia, hand trimmed Mary El Tarot 1st ed with edges hand-blackened, and hand trimmed edge-coppered Crowley's Thoth Tarot, two pivotal teachers in my tarot explorations, along with one of my first ever tarot: Tarot of The New Vision, and two of my first ever reading cards. Just to name a few.

I will never forget you all, and they will always remain in me.

Further sales and gift givings are temporarily suspended until further notice due to time constraints (and I am exhausted).

All remaining collection for sale, and not for sale, have been moved to storage. Unsold ones, if not to be re-listed, or those I decide to give away just because, have been, and will continue to be, given away and donated at my convenience.

Check out what I still have for sale, and for further updates:
